On July 26th, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Huaxia Land "Cradle Economy" Ecological Circulation Industrial Park was held in Tacheng City. Wang Dongsheng, member of the local committee and secretary of the Tacheng Municipal Committee, attended the ceremony and announced the start of the project.

Since the beginning of this year, Tacheng City has adhered to the construction of the "Eight Major Industrial Clusters" of the autonomous region and the "Three Major Regions" of the region, based on its resource endowment advantages, focusing on the development layout of "One Heart and Four Parks", focusing on the corn leading industry, and vigorously developing the corn deep processing industry system. The commencement of construction of this project marks a new chapter in the development of corn deep processing industry in Tacheng City, and will have a significant and far-reaching impact on the economic and social development of Tacheng City.

Professor Wang Dawei from the School of Food Science and Engineering at Jilin Agricultural University and Director of the New Product Research and Development Center at Jilin Agricultural University said, "The main features of the project are saving raw materials, being green and environmentally friendly, and having no waste. It can further reduce the cost of polylactic acid by more than 30%. The project demonstrates a strong development trend, which is very conducive to the high-level development of corn in Tacheng area and enables the corn industry to grow and strengthen

Niu Ai, General Manager of Xinjiang Huaxia Dadi Biotechnology Co., Ltd., said, "The Huaxia Dadi Tacheng 'Cradle Economy' Ecological Circulation Industrial Park project will consume 2.25 million tons of corn locally. Corn starch is processed through saccharification, fermentation, purification, and polymerization to produce bio based biodegradable material polylactic acid, which has a wide range of applications and can fully replace petroleum based plastics and chemical fiber materials. In the future, we will also produce high-performance materials such as polylactic acid medical and health materials, polylactic acid 3D printing materials, and polylactic acid engineering materials. The first phase of the project currently under construction includes a polylactic acid production line with a capacity of 75000 tons, which can consume 225000 tons of corn
