In August 2024, the Development and Reform Commission of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region issued the "Mid-term Adjustment List of Key Projects for the Autonomous Region in 2024" (New Development and Reform Project [2024] No. 496). The "Cradle Economy" ecological circular industrial park project in Tacheng, constructed by Xinjiang Huaxia Dadi New Materials Group Co., Ltd. (formerly Xinjiang Huaxia Dadi Biotechnology Co., Ltd.), was successfully included in the supplementary list of key reserve projects of the autonomous region. The project was officially incorporated into the key project management system of the autonomous region, receiving key preferential treatment in terms of policy support and element guarantee, providing strong support for the accelerated construction of the project.
The "Cradle Economy" ecological circular industrial park in Taicheng relies on the abundant agricultural and forestry resources in the area and is built around the concept of green circular development. It plans to establish industrial sections such as wood panels, corn bio-starch production, and polylactic acid, forming a complete industrial chain from raw materials to deep processing and then to resource recycling. The total investment of the project is 36.2 billion yuan. Once completed, the project will effectively enhance the utilization value of agricultural and forestry resources in the Taicheng region, improve the characteristic agricultural industrial chain, and promote the optimization and upgrading of the local industrial structure. Currently, the project is advancing the construction of supporting facilities such as the wood panel factory and office and dormitory buildings in accordance with the plan. The film coating factory and edible fungus factory are also simultaneously carrying out preparatory work before commencement. The overall progress is smooth.
This selection as a key reserve project of the autonomous region is a full recognition of the project by the autonomous region and various local departments. In the future, under the guidance of the Taicheng City Commerce and Industry and Information Technology Bureau, the company will use this as a driving force, accelerate the processing of procedures, promptly promote construction, and strictly ensure project quality at a higher standard, striving to turn the industrial park into a model project of local ecological circular economy and contribute to the high-quality development of Xinjiang.
