This is the newly revised "Hainan Special Economic Zone Prohibition of disposable non-degradable plastic products" since the official implementation of December 1, 2024, Haikou City Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau for the first time in the logistics warehouse container scene seized a large number of prohibited plastic products.

According to reports, according to clues, the inspection team seized 323 boxes of disposable non-degradable plastic products in the logistics warehouse of the Lion Ling Industrial Park in the high-tech zone, including three types of disposable non-degradable plastic products (including polyethylene materials).

In the process of handling the case of the logistics warehouse, the two containers outside the warehouse attracted the attention of the inspection team, the inspection team broke the "cover wall" of the outer layer of the container by the whole box of drinks, and found a large number of disposable non-degradable plastic products in the hiding container, and the initial inventory of about 500 boxes. After verification, plastic products such as disposable non-degradable vest bags stored in logistics warehouses and containers contain polyethylene non-biodegradable polymer materials, which belong to the category of "Hainan Province Prohibited production and Sale of disposable non-degradable plastic products", with a total of nearly 900 boxes.

According to Article 26 of the Provisions of the Hainan Special Economic Zone Prohibiting disposable non-degradable Plastic Products, those who store disposable non-degradable plastic products in the prohibited list will face a fine of more than 10,000 yuan and less than 100,000 yuan, and those whose value exceeds 100,000 yuan will be fined the same amount of the value of the goods, and if there are illegal gains, the illegal gains will be confiscated. Haikou City comprehensive Administrative law enforcement Bureau law enforcement officers in accordance with the law and regulations of the goods involved in the seizure, follow-up law enforcement departments will be in-depth investigation of the responsible person involved in the case, they will be dealt with seriously.
